Know the pathway before SIL service starts

Relief Wakes’ registration includes Supported Independent Living. We welcome confidential provider discussions, but a partnership is not registration borrowing.

01

Already delivering SIL

An existing unregistered provider may be able to continue during assessment only where every NDIS Commission transition requirement is met, including submitting a valid registration application by 1 October 2026.

02

Not currently delivering SIL

A new or unregistered provider that was not already delivering SIL cannot commence SIL until its registration application has been approved.

03

Seeking a lawful partnership

Relief Wakes can assess participant-led referrals and controlled delivery partnerships. Each proposal requires participant choice and consent, a written scope and suitable cleared workers. A partnership is never a way to borrow or bypass registration.

Every enquiry is assessed individually

We verify registration or transition status, participant authority and consent, scope, conflicts, worker suitability, insurance, safeguarding, incidents, complaints and records.

Official SIL requirements

No automatic approval. Do not send participant names, NDIS numbers, plans, health information, identity documents or case notes in the first enquiry.

No registration borrowing. Relief Wakes remains accountable for services delivered under its registration. Subcontractors must meet every applicable NDIS Code of Conduct, Practice Standard, worker-screening, competency, incident, complaint, record and safeguarding obligation.

Simple by design

One path from enquiry to authorised service

Our central command centre tracks readiness, decisions, documents and follow-ups—so partners get clarity without unnecessary complexity.

01

Tell us the opportunity

Share the service area, intended scope and business contact details—never participant health information at enquiry stage.

02

We complete a fit check

We review registration or transition status, capability, workforce readiness, insurance and program requirements.

03

Responsibilities are agreed

Both organisations document scope, participant consent, pricing, privacy, incidents, records and escalation pathways.

04

Service starts when authorised

No service begins until the agreement, scope, worker checks and service-specific approvals are complete.

Evidence, not assumptions

Readiness a responsible provider can verify

Exact requirements are confirmed for each opportunity and service type.

  • Entity, insurance and contracting records
  • Worker screening, training and role checks
  • Participant choice, consent and privacy controls
  • Incident, complaint and safeguarding pathways
  • Service notes and delivery evidence
  • Human review for complex or higher-risk work
